Tylenol
or acetaminophen - is an analgesic medication. It is
effective to reduce pain in musculoskeletal pain but has no anti-inflammatory
component. It is usually safe for sensitive stomachs.
Ibuprofen
or Advil - are essentially the same medication. It
is an anti-inflammatory and analgesic medication. It is effective
for musculoskeletal strains, sprains, and neck pain (acute or
chronic). If you have an irritable stomach or intestinal lining,
this may not be an option.
Aspirin
- is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication.
It is effective for musculoskeletal pain (injuries and arthritis).
If you have an irritable stomach or intestinal lining, this may
not be an option.
Robaxacet
- combines muscle relaxant and analgesic medication. It is effective
for acute neck or back pain. If you have an irritable stomach
or intestinal lining, this may not be an option.
